We spent our Easter holiday at a hotel with an amazing spa and great attractions for kids, located in a beautiful spot with a stunning view. The restaurant had good food, and we especially loved the variety of French cheeses they served.
the shower pressure in our room was very low, and the beds were worn out.

Beautiful location directly at the Diemelsee. We had booked land view, but even got a room with lake view. It was very big, had 2 floors and even two separate small rooms. The furnishing is not the newest, but it was absolutely ok! There were bathrobes and lots of towels. The breakfast buffet was good - finally a really good honey dispenser :-) I liked the wellness treatments - but you should book them in advance. The staff was very friendly throughout! I liked the idea of the small bags that you hang on the door handle to avoid cleaning (even if we were too late with it)
Unfortunately, the WLAN had, at least when we were there, again and again dropouts. The buffet for dinner was ok - but it did not "knock us off our feet". It would also have been nice to have a kettle in the room.

The staff was very nice and the breakfast was also very good!
What we didn't like was that there were no information in the rooms about leisure activities or information about the hotel (check-out, meal times, etc.). The mattresses were extremely soft. The breakfast was perfect, everything you need. For dinner we did without the buffet and ordered from the menu. Unfortunately! Fried potatoes swam in the fat. The "Schnitzel" was small, thin and tough like shoe soles. At all not recommendable. But the waiter was very obliging and took a dish off our bill. The location is great, directly at the lake and you have a lot of peace and nature! Unfortunately we will not go there anymore, as one can definitely book better hotels for the money.

Nice hotel at Diemelsee, nice sauna and spa facilities. Good breakfast. Perfect to relax and to enjoy nature.
Not all the spa facilities mentioned on the promotional paper are available. There are no "erlebnis douche" only normal showers and there is no outside pool. But the location is really nice, unfortunately there is nothing special to do in the neighbourhood, there is no butcher, backery or a supermarket (Adorf 5km). For all this, you are better off in Willingen.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The room I stayed in was spacious and had a lovely balcony overlooking the beautiful Diemelsee. I also had access to amazing spa facilities, including a pool, sauna, and steam bath. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious. The surrounding countryside was absolutely breathtaking, and I can't wait to come back in the summer to explore more of the area.
I would highly recommend this place to families.
